Yes! For both piercings and tattoos, we require a valid government issued photo ID. If your ID is expired, clipped, or punched please bring your yellow-papers with you. Passports, State/Military/Tribal ID, and drivers licenses are all acceptable.
In the state of MN it is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18. We only offer earlobe piercings for 10-13 year olds, we will not pierce anyone 9 years old or younger. Minors age 14-17 should refer to our piercing price sheet under the piercing tab on our website to see which piercings we offer. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and it must be the guardian on all documentation. The guardian must bring a valid government issued photo ID, the minor must also bring the same identification. If that is not available, a current school ID will work. You must also provide an original legal document (birth certificate, adoption papers or guardianship papers, etc.) to prove legal guardianship. We must have these documents in order to pierce you.
Every tattoo is priced according to size, location, and complexity. Feel free to call the shop [612 379 4455] to set up a consultation.
Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel, you can reschedule 24 hours in advance of your appointment. DO NOT EMAIL THE SHOP TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT! If you need to reschedule please call us and we will transfer your deposit to the new appointment date.
Consultations are the best way for the client and the artist to collaborate on the design for your tattoo. Think of it as a chance for you to meet one on one with the artist before making a commitment. This is the best way to put ideas on the table and get advice on how to bring your vision to life!
Bring any images and ideas you have about what you want your tattoo to look like. The artist will take these ideas and use them as references to create an original, unique piece for you!
Unfortunately we can’t pierce with jewelry that comes from outside the shop as we cannot guarantee the quality of metal. We can help you put in jewelry from outside the shop into an existing piercing.
The majority of our jewelry is hypoallergenic surgical steel and titanium. We also carry a beautiful selection of 14k & 18k white, yellow, and rose gold pieces. For stretched piercings we carry pyrex, stainless steel, and organic options. We also have catalogs from which we can order for you.
For piercings we sell the after care solution and provide you with instructions on how to care for your piercing. For tattoos the artist will walk you through caring for your new tattoo.
Leave the bandage on for 3-12 hours (overnight). A few hours after your session is done apply an ice pack through your bandage. Continue icing for a few minutes each day for 3 days.
If the bandage sticks to the tattoo while you're removing it, wet the area with lukewarm water and slide the bandage off. DO NOT REBANDAGE.
Once the bandage is removed, (wash hands first) wash the tattooed area gently with mild, fragrance-free soap and warm water. Make sure to remove all excess ointment, blood, and ink. Gently pat dry with a paper towel. DO NOT SCRUB.
Wash your tattoo 3 times a day for 4 weeks.
For the first 3 days, after washing the tattoo, allow the skin to air dry and apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor.
On the fourth day, stop using Aquaphor and begin applying Aveeno lotion (the fragrance free, aloe free "daily moisturising" kind, with the green label) until the tattoo settles into the skin. This typically takes 3-4 weeks.
Your tattoo will peel and/or flake. This is a normal part of the healing process. It will also be itchy while it heals, however, do not pick, itch or scratch tattooed area while it's healing!
*important: NO SUN, SWIMMING, SOAKING, SAUNAS for at least 2 weeks.
*consult a healthcare professional at the first sign of infection
*if you have any questions about healing or aftercare, please call us.
