Hey everybody!
We have a few parcels of information for you...
First, we have added a new member to the Steady family. Her name is Megan Hoogland, perhaps you've heard of her. The following was taken from her web site,
meganhoogland.com:
"With 13 years of experience, Megan has made a name for herself as one of the top female tattoo artists in the United States, working countless conventions and being featured in numerous magazines worldwide.
As a master in both color and black & gray tattooing, she specializes in portrait tattooing and reproduction work-with a twist., making each piece that she works on her own."
Short, sweet and true. Megan is currently working at our shop on Wednesdays and Thursdays only, but will add more days to the list once she is done transitioning here from Cactus Tattoo in Mankato. Her portfolio is not up yet, but you can check it out on her web site, again at
meganhoogland.com, or on our MySpace at
myspace.com/steadytattoo.
...Speaking of Megan, she is currently at a tattoo convention in Green Bay, WI, with one of our other artists, Tom Alvarado. It runs January 15-18, so If you happen to be in that area, check it out! Here's a link to the convention's site:
http://www.tattoosbyrick.com/cIn other news, right now we are running a promotional offer. It is $20 off of any tattoo of $80 or more. Flyer coupons are located here at the shop - just come in and ask us for one! Hell, take two and give one to a friend. There are plenty.
The last item to divulge is our FAQ page. It is now up and running. If you have had some burning questions about tattoos, perhaps you will find the answer here:
FAQ. If you have any suggestions for the FAQ page, let us know!
Thanks for stopping in to see what's going on. Bit by bit, our web site is becoming an active, well-oiled machine. If you have any questions that cannot be answered by the site, please contact us. The fastest way is via phone: 612-379-4455, or you can send us a message through our contact page or straight to: steadytattoo@gmail.com.
Take care, and keep looking for more news!
Oh, and chin up, chin up. It's supposed to be in the 20's next week.
